Condolence From: Richard L Henley
Condolence: Condolence From Richard Henley; Dan you have my deepest sympathy for the loss of your wife and best friend. Greg and Andy I extend my sympathy to each of you as well for the loss of your best friend as well as your dear mother. The bond your mother held for each of you and the love and understanding exhibited are a wonderful example of the love and acceptance Christ has for each of us. This is a very sad time for all but we have the assurance Joyce is asleep in Christ. There is no more suffering for her. She has been a great friend to all the family and everyone she encountered. I count it a privilege to be among this group. God Bless Each of You Richard

Condolence From: Larry & Clara Buckner
Condolence: To Dan and family, We are so sorry to hear of your lose. But God is merciful in the sleep of death. Just think, the next thing Joyce will see will be our Lord coming in the clouds of heaven. What better moment can that be. God saves the righteous from more pain. Isiah 57:1. I remember so well Joyce and Olna coming to my house before you were married. Their trip was to talk about her wedding dress, which I made for her. I remember the wonderful time we had selecting fabric and design for her wedding dress. Such a pleasure on my part to be a part of your special occasion. God will bless you as you move forward in His strength. Clara

Condolence From: Carol Wolf
Condolence: Dear Dan and family,
Herb and I are so saddened with the loss of Joyce. She has been my dear friend since Academy days at Forest Lake Academy. She was loved by all the girls in the dorm and always had time to listen to everyone's problems and offer help and encouragement. She was a leader in so many ways and was our class vice-president.

We were room mates at Andrews University for two years. What fun we had!! We had many late night chats about life, boyfriends and we wondered what the future held for each of us. She loved the Lord and it was demonstrated by her loving kindness to everyone. She always chose to do right. She was a very positive influence on my life. I remember reading through Steps to Christ with her. I think it was the first time I had ever read the book. It made a real impression on both of us. I will miss her very much. I will miss her Christmas cards, recipes, chatting about family, visits to her home, our trips looking for antiques together, hearing about her children and grandchildren and hearing about her faith in Jesus and His soon coming.

We Have This Hope, Hope in the coming of the Lord!! What a day it will be!! We look forward to it with great joy. We will be united to never part again!! Sometimes it just seems to good to be true. But we know it is true because Jesus has promised.

Please know that we are asking God to keep holding you in His arms of love and telling you how much you are loved.

We will be there on Friday.

Much love to all of you.

Carol
