Services for Joseph Anthony Zielinski, 56, of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday, March 10, 2014 at Rosser Funeral Home. The family will receive visitors 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday, March 9, 2014 at the funeral home.
Joe passed away on March 5, 2014 in Cleburne, Texas. He was born Sept. 20, 1957 in Jersey City, NJ to Cecelie Wager and Joseph C. Zielinski. Joe married Kathy Jorgensen on Sept. 30, 1978 in North Bergen, NJ. He was employed at John Manville where he was a proud member of the union. Joe was active in the Cleburne Baseball Association and the Cleburne Pee Wee Football. He was a sports and fishing enthusiast, as well as an avid reader. He served as PTA President and classroom “Mom”. Joe was a loving husband, father of five children, and grandfather of four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy Zielinski of Cleburne; daughters, Cynthia Blair and husband Chris of Joshua, Amanda Tomlinson of Cleburne; sons, Joseph Zielinski, Jr. and William Zielinski both of Cleburne, Eric Zielinski of Arlington; brother, Donald Zielinski of Cleburne; sister, Jolie Defiori and husband Victor of Cleburne; grandsons, Blake, Matthew, Levi, and Wyatt; and loving mother-in-law, Ruth Culmone of New Jersey.
