Graveside services for James Earl Odom, 84, of Alvarado, Texas will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 7, 2015 at Lee Cemetery in Winnsboro, Texas. Bro. Richard Brown will officiate.
There is no visitation scheduled.
Mr. Odom passed away Thursday, June 4, 2015 in Fort Worth, Texas. He was born in Soper, Oklahoma on October 17, 1930, the son of Willie (Roberson) and James Marion Odom.
Mr. Odom served his country in the United States Army. He was a salesman in the oil and gas industry and was a member of Hillside Baptist Church in Alvarado.
Mr. Odom was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Nelda Ruth Crane Odom; and sister, Beatrice Reynolds.
He is survived by his sons, Danny Odom and wife, Laura, of Coppell, Texas and Mike Odom and wife, Jackie, of Glen Rose, Texas; daughter, Jamie Staley and husband, Steve, of Burleson, Texas; sisters, Mary Odom of Pflugerville, Texas and Bernice Chapman of Grand Prairie, Texas; and grandchildren, Ryan Odom, Shane Odom, Connor Odom, Clint Staley and Meredith Odom.
