Mr. Jesus Alvarado Sr. (Jesse), of Grandview, TX, passed away on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at the age of 70.

Jesus was born to parents Simon and Adela Alvarado on June 19, 1946 in Hondo, TX and grew up with his siblings, Simon Jr., Rita, Adela, Fecundo and Frank. In 1963, he married the love of his life, Orbillia Castor and they later had two children, Irene and Jesus Jr. (Jay). For the majority of his life, Jesus owned and operated Bestway Backhoe Services and was known for being a skilled and dedicated worker who could tackle any job. He was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in 2008 and enjoyed following Jesus’ example of letting others know about Jehovah’s name through the scriptures and participating in his volunteer ministry.

Jesus is survived by his wife, Orbillia, his daughter, Irene Sanchez, his son, Jay, his sister, Adela Becerra and three grandchildren, Miranda Alvarado, Christopher Sanchez and Suede Sanchez. He is preceded in death by his parents, Simon and Adela, and his siblings, Simon Jr., Rita Castro, Frank and Fecundo.

Family and friends are invited to attend his memorial service to be held at the Cleburne Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses on Friday evening, December 30th at 7pm. Address: 2332 CR 312, Cleburne, TX 76031.
