Condolences

Condolence From: Douglas A. Schoenhals
Condolence: I have known Jr for all my life. I have helped him off and on during the years to accomplish his farming activities. I had helped his dad Adam Sr several times during my highschool years. Working for them was a real pleasure because you never went hungry out in the field. Aunt Leah, Jr's mother, would bring out a folding table, cover it with a tablecloth and set dishes like a home served meal. When Jr's wife passed away I came and helped him again get ready for harvest, moving vehicles around to various fields and loading the drill when he was replanting the next years wheat. He shared his knowledge with me when I was trying to do my own farm activity. I will miss his phone calls to recall some life experiences related to farming and otherwise.

Condolence: Adam, better known as Junior to most of us, was not only a close relative (first cousin), but a good friend.
While growing up on our respective farms, we spent a lot of time together on the tractor, plowing, harvesting and doing farm chores. Junior was very fluent in the German language and enjoyed reminiscing with my Mom in german, commenting about family and friends. Junior will be missed by all of us. We extend our
sincere condolences to the Kerbs family.

Condolence: Sorry to hear of Junior's passing. I was always pleased to see and visit with him and was very appreciative of his attention to my mom (Ruth) when he visited Shattuck. He was definitely one of a kind. We were at Guymon this past week and drove through Shattuck on the way. Was thinking of Junior when we went by his farm and was reminded to ask my sister Vera if she had heard from him. My deepest and heart-felt condolences from our house to yours.
