Graveside services for James Henry “Jim” Cunningham, 72, of Joshua, Texas will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 23. 2017 at Union Hill Cemetery in Joshua. The family will receive visitors 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 22, 2017 at Rosser Funeral Home.
Jim passed away on Thursday, Aug. 17, 2017 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was born Oct. 20, 1944 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Dessie Viola (Eason) and William Marion Cunningham. Jim served his country in the United States Army. He was a building contractor and of the Christian faith.
Jim was preceded in death by his wife, Dean Cunningham in 2014; his parents; son, Kenneth David Richardson; three sisters; and six brothers.
He is survived by his children, James Isaac Cunningham and wife, Melissa, of Lovelady, Texas, Shawn Richardson and wife, Hollie, of Cleburne, Sharlae Richardson of Joshua; grandchildren, Starla Cunningham and Ron, Ikie Cunningham and wife, Maribel, Justin Cunningham and wife, Kara, Chelsea Richardson, Shea Wood; great-grandchildren that lived with Jim, Brayden, Destiny, Brenley, JJ; several other great-grandchildren; siblings, Sally Hibdon, Laura Murphy and husband, Jim, Hershel Cunningham and wife, Verna, Billy Cunningham and wife, Delores, Martha Hill and husband, Melvin, Rosie Ross and husband Ronald; and a host of other relatives and friends.
