Graveside services for Ronnie Lee Geer, Sr., 69, of Covington, Texas will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday, September 14, 2017, at the Rio Vista Cemetery with Bro. Sam Houston officiating.
Visitation will be held from 6 – 8 p.m. Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at Rosser Funeral Home.
Serving as pallbearers will be Joseph Blunk, Ricky Geer, Beau Waldrop, Tommy Hitt, and Michael Warren with Brad Richardson and Wayne Waldrop serving as honorary pallbearers.
Ronnie Lee Geer passed away Monday, September 11, 2017, peacefully at his home. He was born in Arlington, Texas on June 23, 1948, the son of Mary Helen (Hitt) and Sim Geer, Jr.
A residential and commercial contractor, Ronnie had lived in Covington for the past 27 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Ronnie is survived by his wife of 27 years, Terri Lynne Geer; sons, Ronnie Geer, Jr., Steven Wesley Geer, Shane Place and wife, Juli, and Brandon Place; daughter, Janice Place; brothers, Charles Ray Geer and Billy Hatch; best friend, Jimbo Waldrop and wife, Linda, and family; Uncle, Kelsey Hitt; cousins, Tommy Hitt, Stevie Hitt and Judy Hitt; niece, Charlie Geer; nephew, Ricky Geer and wife; and five grandchildren, Jacie Reed Geer, Kayson Ty Geer, Cameron Phillips, Dakota Place and Brazos Place.
