Services for Jean Williams, 81, of Kopperl, Texas will be conducted at 11 a.m., Saturday, November 18, 2017 at Brazos Point Full Gospel Church. Pastor Phil Vaughn will officiate. Burial will follow in Brazos Point Cemetery. The family will receive visitors 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, Nov. 17, 2017 at Rosser Funeral Home.
Serving as pallbearers will be Kenneth Gillaspie, Otis Vaughn, David Williams, Jake Emery, and Mike Rolston.
Jean went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2017 in Glen Rose, Texas. She was born Oct. 13, 1936 in Hillsboro, Texas to Mattie (Smith) and Herman Shelton. Jean married Richard Williams on June 11, 1976 in Alvarado.
Jean was a retired pattern designer and a member of Brazos Point Full Gospel Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and sons, Dennis Gillaspie and Ronnie Williams.
She is survived by husband, Richard Williams of Kopperl; sons, Ronald Wayne Gillaspie and wife, Rose, of Pearland, Larry Gillaspie and wife, Teresa, of Alvarado, Donnie Williams of Itasca; daughter, Debbie Williams Emery and husband, Kerry of Cleburne; 12 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
