Condolence From: Joy McClellan
Condolence: Art loved life as much as anyone I have ever known. He was smart, kind and had a great sense of humor. He loved people. I think our organization, Save Old Cleburne, will greatly miss Art because he worked tirelessly, along with Sherry, for us. He could find businesses to help fund our events and did the thankless chores that most others did not want to do. He just upped and volunteered.
I will miss his voice which stood out from other voices, and he teased us ladies quite a bit.
I don't think Art could possibly be replaced because he was a valuable and loyal member and friend. We will remember him that way.

Know that we will always cherish so many memories with Dad Duke over the years...he was always happy and positive in his outlook on life, made us laugh, and helped us see many situations in a different and even better light. Condolence: Art was deeply loved and appreciated by both family and friends. We enjoyed his irrepressible sense of humor, along with his infectious smile and the twinkle in his eyes. We will always treasure his friendship and celebrate his life. A great man has fallen..., Art will be missed... and we rejoice that we will be reunited with Art in the upperside.

Condolence From: Barry A Schlech
Condolence: We have lost a great patriot. Art was truly one of our most vocal local conservative activists and I enjoyed working with him at the Texas Patriots Tea Party here in Burleson. He always was sniffing out the failings of our Federal government officials and nudging them to do better. We, citizens, appreciated all that he did. We loved seeing Art and his lovely wife, Sherry, at our meetings and receiving all those sometimes controversial emails from Art. His passing is a loss for his family and his local friends and military buddies. We will miss him.
