Graveside services for Donald Lee Jackson, Jr., 61, of Keene, Texas will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at Emerald Hills Cemetery in Kennedale, Texas with Pastor Russ Weaver officiating. A memorial service will be held following burial at 2 p.m. at Shepherd’s Valley Cowboy Church in Alvarado, Texas.
The family will receive visitors from 6 – 8 p.m. Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at Rosser Funeral Home in Cleburne, Texas.
Mr. Jackson passed away Friday, December 1, 2017 in Cleburne. He was born November 28, 1956 in Fort Worth, Texas, the son of Mary Frances (Blackburn)and Donald Lee Jackson.
Donald married Marla Blackwood on May 27, 1978. He was a computer programmer in the sheet metal industry.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, David Jackson.
Donald is survived by his wife of over 39 years, Marla Jackson of Keene; brothers, Robert Jackson and wife, Terri and Jimmy Jackson; sister, Carol Robinson and husband, James; son, Donald L. Jackson III and wife, Christy; daughter, Cori Chamberlain and husband, Kevin; grandchildren, Alexyss Thomas, Wyatt Howell and Kaidyn and Zachary Chamberlain; and numerous nieces and nephews.
