Obituary for Shala Kaye Draper (Morris)

Funeral services for Shala Kaye Draper, 43, of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, December 18, 2017 at Field Street Baptist Church with Dr. John Hall officiating.
There is no visitation scheduled. Burial will follow at a later date.
Shala went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 in Fort Worth, Texas. She was born in Sherman, Texas on August 16, 1974, the daughter of Becca (Keath) and Rick Morris.
Shala married the love of her life, Brian Draper, on August 14, 1999 in Greenwood, Louisiana.
She was a loving daughter to Rick and Becca; an amazingly dedicated mother to Cass; and a devoted wife to Brian. There are no words to describe the love she had for her family.
She could always be found cheering Cass on at one of her many activities. Shala was by far the best friend anyone could wish for. Her many close friendships can attest to that. She will be dearly missed by so many.
Shala is survived by her husband, Brian Draper; daughter, Cass Draper; parents, Rick and Becca Morris, all of Cleburne; brother, Keath Morris and wife, Julie, of Midland, Texas; father-in-law, Don Draper of Keithville, Louisiana; mother-in-law, Elaine Davis of Keithville; sisters-in-law, Robin Creech of Bossier City, Louisiana and Kim Draper of Crowley, Texas; her nieces and nephews; and numerous other family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to one of the following: Autism Society at www.autism-society.org/ , Life Gift at www.lifegift.org/, or to Children’s Advocacy Center of Johnson County at contactus@cacjctx.org.
