Jewel Yvonne Amyett, 83, of Crowley, Texas passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2018 in Crowley. Burial will be held at the DFW National Cemetery at a later date.
Mrs. Amyett was born in Fort Worth, Texas on July 10, 1934, the daughter of Sally (Wentworth) and George Meyer.
She married William Amyett on June 29, 1951 in Fort Worth, Texas.
Mrs. Amyett was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William; and two brothers.
She is survived by her sons, Timothy Amyett of New Mexico and Aaron Amyett and wife, Sonda, of Virginia; daughters, Jo Ellen Powers and husband, Dave, of California, LuAnne Woods of Burleson, Texas, Lana Anastasia and husband, Tony, Laura Whaley and husband, Steve, and Rachel Castle and husband, David, all of California; 26 grandchildren and over 40 great grandchildren.
