Graveside services for James William “Dub” Jones, 80, of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, January 18, 2018 at Rosehill Cemetery with the Rev. Brian McClure officiating.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at Rosser.
Mr. Jones passed away Sunday, January 14, 2018 in Fort Worth, Texas. He was born in Cleburne on February 26, 1937, the son of Adalaide (Robinson) and Lewis Jones.
Dub was a painter with the bridge builders with the Santa Fe Railroad and was of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Margaret; sons, James Jones, Jr. and Jeffery Jones; and brother, David Jones.
Dub is survived by his son, Jony Jones and wife, Patricia, of Burkburnett, Texas; grandchildren, Trey, Jessie, Rain, and Sky; great grandchildren, Hunter, Aubree and Brayson; brother, Virgil Jones and wife, Linda, of Cleburne; sister, Juanita Bachhofer and husband, Jimmy, of Kopperl, Texas; and a host of other relatives and friends.
