Obituary for Casey Lehtinen

Funeral services for Casey Lehtinen, 33, of Burleson, Texas will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, February 9, 2018 at the Granbury Street Church of Christ with Buddy Fry officiating and Song Leader Jason Hackler. Burial will follow at Rosehill Cemetery in Cleburne, Texas.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6 – 8 p.m. Thursday, February 8, 2018 at Rosser Funeral Home in Cleburne, Texas.
Serving as pallbearers will be Clark Lehtinen, Barry Lehtinen, Jay Lehtinen, Matt Canning, Jason Baker and Mark Campbell. Honorary pallbearers are Caleb Lehtinen, Corban Lehtinen, Randy Pruitt and Ryan Pruitt.
Casey Lehtinen passed away Sunday, February 4, 2018 in Fort Worth, Texas. He was born in Fort Worth on March 6, 1984, the son of Deborah (Hight) and Clark Lehtinen.
Casey married Natasha Pruitt on January 8, 2005 in Cleburne. As a husband, Casey and Natasha balanced each other to make a perfect team. As a father, Casey adored and loved his children. Making time for them was his top priority.
Casey brought his faith into everything he did. As a registered nurse at Texas Health Harris Methodist in downtown Fort Worth, his love of God and medicine showed through his exemplary care of his patients in palliative care. Casey was respected by his peers for not only his medical knowledge but for his love and compassion.
Casey was a long time member of Granbury Street Church of Christ and was currently a member of Blum Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife, Natasha Lehtinen of Burleson; son, Corban Lehtinen and daughters, Jonah and Brook Lehtinen; parents, Clark and Deborah Lehtinen of Cleburne; brothers, Barry Lehtinen and wife, Krista, of Seadrift, Texas and Jay Lehtinen and wife, Jennifer, of Alvarado, Texas; grandmother, Betty Hight of Grandview, Texas; uncle, Mike Hight and wife, Dede of Cleburne; nieces, Sasha Howell and husband, Dane and Elyse Pruitt; nephews, Caleb Lehtinen, Kidron Lehtinen and Ian Lehtinen; and his niece on the way who will be named after him, Ansa Kaci Lehtinen. Casey is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
