Graveside services for Charles Edward Spradlin Sr., 77, of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, February 23, 2018 at Rosehill Cemetery in Cleburne with Chaplain Don Anderson officiating.
Visitation will be held from 6 – 8 p.m. Thursday, February 22, 2018 at Rosser Funeral Home.
Charles passed away Tuesday, February 20, 2018 in Cleburne. Charles was born July 25, 1940 in Ft. Worth, Texas at the Harris Clinic to Hugh E. Spradlin and Lometa A. (Allen) Spradlin. Charles graduated from Poly High School in Ft. Worth in 1958. He was in the United States Army Active Reserve from 1963 - 1969.
He was a resident of Johnson County since 1979. Charles retired from General Dynamics/Lockheed Martin after 35 years of service in August of 2002.
He was preceded in death by his parents and older brother Gary Spradlin Sr.
Charles is survived by his youngest brother, John Spradlin of Grandview, Texas; his oldest son, Charles Jr. and Kim of Grandview; his oldest daughter, Victoria and Donnie Moore of Bentonville, Arkansas; and youngest daughter, Mary and David Fletcher of Poolville, Texas; grandchildren, Matthew, Wyley, and Parker; great-grandson, Daniel; nephews, Gary E. Bedinger, James Spradlin, and Hugh Spradlin; nieces, Lesa Taylor, Cheryl Farmer, and Stephanie Chaffin.
