Funeral services for Raul Villarreal Longoria, 84, of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 20, 2018, at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Sergio Rizo officiating. Burial will follow in the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6-8 p.m. Monday, March 19, 2018, at Rosser Funeral Home with The Rosary beginning at 7 p.m.
Serving as pallbearers will be Rick Longoria, Steve Weller, Matt Hemberger, Joshua Hemberger, Ed Pruitt, and Randy Moss.
Mr. Longoria passed away Thursday, March 15, 2018 in Cleburne. He was born in Beeville, Texas on November 29, 1933, the son of Brijida (Villarreal) and Felix Longoria.
Mr. Longoria served his country in the United States Army. He retired from the Comanche Peak Nuclear Power Plant where he was a pipe fitter foreman.
Mr. Longoria will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
He was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers.
Mr. Longoria is survived by his wife, Betty Longoria; daughter, Barbie Hemberger-Weller and husband, Steve; son, Rick Longoria and wife, Sara; grandchildren, Matt Hemberger and wife, Meghann and Joshua Hemberger, Brittney (Hemberger) Pickering and husband, Landon, and Alexa and Kylee Longoria; great-grandchildren, Molly and Mason Hemberger and Tenley and Braxton Beltran; brother, Felix Longoria, Jr.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
