Obituary for Clois A. Logsdon

Clois A. “Logie” Logsdon, 85, of Morgan, Texas passed away Thursday, April 12, 2018 at his home. He was born in Cleburne, Texas on September 28, 1932.
Clois and Sue (Simmons) married on July 10, 1953 at East Henderson Street Baptist Church in Cleburne. He served his country in the United State Army and was a federal corrections officer. He was 32nd degree Scottish Rite, a member of the Cleburne Masonic Lodge and an active member of Steele Creek VFD. Clois was a singer and lead guitar for the Country Ramblers Band.
Clois was a member of First Baptist Church of Lakeside Village.
Graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, April 19, 2018 at Rosehill Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 – 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at Rosser Funeral Home.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary (Hadley) Davidson and Virgil Logsdon; and son, Clois “Chip” Logsdon, Jr.
Clois is survived by his wife, Sue Logsdon of Morgan, Texas; daughter, Robyn White and husband, Marc, of Granbury, Texas; brothers, Charles Mathis of Cleburne, George Mathis and wife, Patsy, of Lakeside Village, Texas, Lee Davidson and wife, Nancy, of Cleburne and Don Davidson of California; grandchildren Lisa Willis and Clayton Willis; and numerous nieces and nephews.
