Graveside services for Otis L. Robinson, 91, of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 19, 2018 at Rosehill Cemetery with Pastor Jerry Cox officiating.
Visitation will be held from 6 – 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at Rosser Funeral Home.
Otis L. Robinson passed away Sunday, April 15, 21018 at his home. He was born in Godley, Texas on August 14, 1926, the son of Gertrude (Dilleshaw) and Ernest E. “Bud” Robinson.
Otis served his country in the United States Navy and married Glenna Baldwin in December of 1948. Otis worked as a civil engineer for the Texas Highway Department for over 40 years. He was involved with the pigeon racing community and had bred and raised homing pigeons since his early teens. He was responsible for developing his own registered breed of homing pigeon. As a Texas A&M graduate, he closely followed his beloved Aggies in sports.
Otis was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.
He is survived by his son, Steven O. Robinson and wife, Julie, of Cleburne; daughter, Belinda Robbs and husband, Ed, of Argyle, Texas; brother, Joe Robinson and wife, Jackie, of Cleburne; grandchildren, Matthew Robbs, Sarah Closson, Drew Robinson and Ryan Robinson; and three great grandchildren.
