Memorial services for Larry Chambers, 69, of Granbury, Texas will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 28, 2018 at the South Walnut Street Church of Christ with Melvin Blalock officiating.
There is no visitation scheduled.
Mr. Chambers passed away Monday, April 23, 2018 in Fort Worth, Texas. He was born in Midland, Texas on January 26, 1949, the son of Wanda (Whitaker) and Jay Chambers.
Larry served his country in the United States Marine Corp. He married Berneta Sue Brown on February 6, 1971 in Midland. Larry was a journeyman electrician for Midland ISD and was a member of Ranchland Baptist Church in Midland. He loved to fish and play computer games but his greatest loves were his grandchildren.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Ronnie and Kevin Chambers; and son, Timothy Chambers in January of 2017.
He is survived by his wife, Sue Chambers of Granbury; son, Mark Chambers of Midland; brothers, Mike Chambers of Corpus Christi, Texas, Bruce Chambers of Big Spring, Texas and Gary Chambers and wife, Donna of Midland; sister, Donna Chambers of Midland; grandchildren, Alan, Layla and Danielle Chambers; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
