Obituary for Barbara Gene Kimbrell (Garner)

Services for Barbara Gene Kimbrell, 74, of Whitney, Texas will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 28, 2018 at Fort Graham Baptist Church in Whitney. Bro. Allan Lane and Bro. Larry Blackmon will officiate. Burial will follow at Blum Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, April 27, 2018 at Rosser Funeral Home in Cleburne. Texas.
Barbara Gene Kimbrell passed away April 24, 2018 at her home in Whitney. Barbara was born in Cleburne, Texas to D. C. and Alyne (Eaton) Garner. She married Harry "Jim" Kimbrell on Oct. 21, 1983. Barbara was a certified nurse’s aide and a former owner Pioneer Cove Cafe in Whitney. She was a member of the Fort Graham Baptist Church.
She was preceeded in death by her parents; husband, Harry "Jim" Kimbrell; sisters, Frances Baber, Billie Moore, Carolyn Clayton and Dianne Reno; and granddaughter, Jadyn Rawls.
She is survived by her five children, sons; Frank Collins and spouse, Debbie, of Longview Texas, Shane Collins and spouse, Kathleen, of Midlothian Texas, Kyle Collins of Blum Texas., Rodney Collins and Jennifer Jennings also of Blum; daughter, Kelly Snyder and husband, Chad, of Whitney; 14 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; sisters, Sylvia Higgins and spouse, Kenneth and Linda Bullard, all of Clifton Texas, and Glenda Tubbs of Blum; brother, Danny Garner of Wichita Falls, Texas; sisters-in-law, Mary Anderson of Cleburne and Dolores Kimbrell of Arlington, Texas; many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of wonderful friends.
