A memorial service for Stan Burton, 72, of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 19, 2018 in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel.
A visitation will held from 6 – 8 p.m. Friday, May 18, 2018 at Rosser.
Honorary pallbearers will be Fred Rodriguez, Danny Elam, Duaine Goulding, Duane Morris, Dennis Meals, Danny Howe, Gary Dollgener, Dan Taylor, Delphus Runnels and David Graff.
Stan Burton passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2018 in Cleburne. He was born in Fort Worth, Texas on January 19, 1946, the son of Betty (Ross) and Donald Dale Burton.
Stan served his country in the United States Army during the Viet Nam War. He was retired as a public surveyor with Trans Systems in Fort Worth, Texas.
Stan was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Sara Burton Dawson.
He is survived by his daughter, Molly Burton Richie and husband, Cyrus, of Joshua, Texas; grandchildren, Beckham and Baylor Richie; brothers, Chuck Burton and wife, Marilyn, of Keller, Texas and Don Burton and wife, Becky, of Crowley, Texas; ex-wife, Jane Burton of Cleburne; and friend, Maxine Wright of Cleburne.
