Funeral services for Elia Ortiz Cavazos, 79, of Grandview, Texas will be conducted at 9 a.m. Monday, May 21, 2018 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cleburne, Texas with Father Sergio Rizo officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at Rosser Funeral Home in Cleburne from 6 – 8 p.m. Saturday, May 19 with The Rosary beginning at 7 p.m.
Elia Cavazos passed away Thursday, May 17, 2018 in Grandview. She was born in Aqua Dulce, Texas on July 8, 1938, the daughter of Olivia and Manuel L. Cavazos.
Elia is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Ruben O. Cavazos.
She is survived by her brothers and sisters, Manuel O. Cavazos and wife, Nellie, Rufino O. Cavazos and wife, Hortensca, Petra I. Cavazos, Margarito O. Cavazos, Gonzalo O. Cavazos and wife, Ernestine, Mary Alice Galindo, Willie O. Cavazos and wife, Becky, Jimmy O. Cavazos and wife, Maria, and Sylvia C. Terronez and husband, Antonio; sister-in-law, Olga Cavazos; and 18 nieces and nephews.
