Obituary for Linda Fay Jordan (Mordecai)

Linda Fay (Mordecai) Jordan, 82, of Bono, Texas passed away Tuesday, June 26, 2018 in Burleson, Texas.
A committal service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, June 29, 2018 at Bono Cemetery in Bono, Texas immediately followed by memorial services at 11 a.m. Friday at Bono Baptist Church with Pastors Kevin Bentley and Greg Robinson officiating.
Mrs. Jordan was born in Chillicothe, Texas on September 29, 1935, the daughter of Cloe (Donoho) and Marion Arch Mordecai.
She was a homemaker, a member of Bono Baptist Church for over 20 years serving as a nursery worker there for several years. She was a loving mother; helped in caring for several other children in her home; and was a caregiver to members of her family.
For years she was a manger, cook, and waitress in several restaurants. Linda always enjoyed the holidays and cooking for her friends and family. She loved to play dominos, was on a bowling team and one of the first big fans of the Dallas Cowboys.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Marion Arch & Cloe Mordecai; seven brothers, Mayfield, Grady, M.A., Jr., Leon, J.T., James, and David Ray Mordecai; sister, Wanda Hughes and son; Charles Leon Jordan.
She is survived by her son, Mickey Jordan and wife, LeeAnn; daughter, Jelyn Crutchley and husband, Kelly and son, Randy Jordan; sister, Priscilla Bennett and husband, Donald; eight grandchildren, Tommy Jordan, Sarah Donathan, Tim Jordan, Wesley Seybold, Delena Kirby, Brian Howeth, James Crutchley and Hayley Wedeman; 20 great grandchildren, Felisha Harper, David Rowe, Lane Jordan, Connor Donathan, Cage Donathan, Kyla Douglas, Maddie Grace, Chloe Jordan, Kari Seybold, Bryce Hutchison, Lia Seybold, Rashell Thompson, Collin Kirby, Calub Kirby, Talyn Kirby, Tatum Howeth, Jacob Howeth, Elijah Howeth, Alannah Howeth and, Kashton Wedeman; five great-great grandchildren, Riven Seybold, Hadden Bailey, Brynnly Thompson, Brax Thompson and Isabella Kirby; many nieces and nephews; and other family members and friends.
