Condolence: Linda and family, I am so sorry to learn of Mike’s passing. I did not know until tonight. I asked Michael how y’all were doing and he forwarded this obit to me. My heart goes out to you and my prayers. I will never forget that you and Mary postponed your vacation to drive to my husband s funeral. I love you❤️

Condolence: My heart dropped when I heard of Mr. Shaw's passing. He was truly one of the kindest people I've ever known. No matter how he felt himself, he took time to ask about and care for others. I had the honor and privilege of caring for Mr. Shaw as one of his nurses. He was always a joy to be around. As fellow Aggies, we bonded from day one, he never failed to ask for me when coming to the hospital or ask about my family. I will forever remember his warm eyes and bright smile when walking into his room. My husband, Barney, and I treasure the visits with him and Linda about family, his military days, and those fighting Texas Aggies. My prayers are with his wife Linda and the rest of the family, I am so very sorry for your loss. He will be truly missed.

Condolence: I am so saddened to hear of Mike's passing. Not only was He a friend, he was a mentor to me for many years in establishing my career. He had faith in me and my abilities long before I could see anything. He advised me through so many aspects of my life. I truly admired him for his uncanny ability to call things as he saw them. Once he pointed out to a city official that they were a chicken-xxxx! When we spoke of that in the years to come he always had that big grin and a twinkle in his eye. He was a true and sincere believer of the Lord and steadfast in carrying out his work. His passing is a deep loss to us all. I will forever be indented to him for all he shared with me.
