Memorial services for Scarlett Kay Raymond, infant daughter of Seth and Haley (Downs) Raymond, will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, August 4, 2018 at The Church on Rush Creek, 2350 SW Green Oaks Blvd., Arlington, Texas 76017. Pastor John Simmons will officiate.
Scarlett passed away peacefully Monday, July 30, 2018 at her home in the arms of her loving parents. She was born March 4, 2018 in Mansfield, Texas.
Scarlett is survived by her parents, Haley and Seth; grandparents, Brent and Le’Ann Downs of Cleburne, Texas and Ray and Theresa Raymond of Spring, Texas; great grandparents, Riney and Karen Jordan of Clifton, Texas and Mary Downs of Universal City, Texas; and aunts and uncles, Caleb Downs of San Antonio, Texas, Annie Downs of Mansfield, and Sheldon Raymond and Reagan Raymond, both of Spring.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Scarlett Kay Raymond Education Fund, Dallas Baptist University, 3000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, TX 75211. This fund will provide scholarships to elementary education majors at DBU.
