I worked with Latrice for many years at Rio Vista middle school. I considered her a friend and the world is a poorer place without her. I remember one day when Latrice went around and asked a group of us if we would like to play dominoes at lunch. We had all been eating in our rooms or working through lunch. Lunch was transformed instead of a bunch of people isolated in our rooms, we were a group of friends playing games and telling stories. The game was legendary and continued for many years. I also brought Chicken Foot home and many a night has been spent playing with family and friends, all due to Latrice. All my love and condolences to her family.
