James Daniel Lewellen, 35, of Alvarado, Texas passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2019 in Fort Worth. He was born November 14, 1983 in Portland, Oregon to Jeannie (Kruger) and Jeffrey Lewellen.
James served his country in the United States Army. He worked in construction and loved spending time with family and friends. He was of the Lutheran faith.
Survivors include his mother, Jeannie Swogger and step-father, Gary of Alvarado; father, Jeffrey Lewellen of Whidbey Island, Washington; three daughters, Kaetlyn Lewellen, Alana Lewellen and Dakota Lewellen; grandmothers, Arlene Kruger of Beaverton, Oregon and Claudia Hurlbert of Whidbey Island, Washington; sister, Meghan Lewellen of Mansfield; brothers, Grant Lewellen of Dallas and Andrew Lewellen of Arlington; stepbrother, Nick Swogger of Arlington; and a host of other relatives and friends who will miss him greatly.
Private memorial services will be held at a later date.
