Graveside services for Annie Bernice “Granny” Cheek, 86, of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, November 13, 2021 at Laurel Land Cemetery in Fort Worth.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6 – 8 p.m. Friday, November 12, 2021at Rosser Funeral Home.
Annie Cheek passed away Wednesday, November 10, 2021 in Cleburne. She was born in Denton, Texas on September 23, 1935, the daughter of Grace Mae (Wilson) and Gordie W. Judkins.
Annie was retired from Montgomery Wards where she worked as a receiving manager and was a member of First Baptist Church of Burleson, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clyde Cheek; daughter, Shirley Cheek; brothers, Joe and Rex Judkins; sisters, Bettye Stephenson and Pauline Barnes; son-in-law, Paul Pinyan; and daughter-in-law, Annette Cheek.
Annie is survived by her daughters, Susan Pinyan of Rio Vista, Texas and Sandra Foster and husband, Buster, of Burleson; sons, Steven Cheek and wife, Martha, of Florida and David Cheek of Burleson; 12 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and numerous other family members and friends.
