Marcelyn Rose “Marcy” Maxwell (Oblander), 91, of Nemo, Texas passed away on November 20, 2021. She was born in Enid, Oklahoma on September 16, 1930 to Paul and Frieda (Gutermuth) Oblander.
Marcy was a resident of Nemo Texas since 2019 and previously a resident of Sebring, Florida since 2003. Prior to that, she resided in Gentry, Arkansas for many years. Marcy was member of the Avon Park Seventh-day Adventist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 71 years, Morris Maxwell.
Marcy is survived by her four children, Marilyn Asher of Deltona, Florida, Maretta Fry (Kenneth) of Nemo, Texas, Milly Joseph (Jim) of Monterey, California, and Marvin Maxwell (Terri) of Sebring, Florida; ten grandchildren;eleven great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held at 12:00pm Friday, November 26, 2021 with the service to begin at 1:00pm at Rosser Funeral Home, Cleburne, Texas. Interment will follow at the Lakeview Memorial Gardens, Avon Park, Florida with a graveside service at 12:00pm Tuesday, November 30, 2021.
