Raymond   Edward "Ray"  Jackson
A memorial service for Raymond Edward “Ray” Jackson, 77, of Fort Worth, Texas, formerly of Cleburne, will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, April 12, 2022 in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at a later date in Rosehill Cemetery.
Visitation for family and friends will be held from 6-8:00 P.M., Monday, April 11, 2022 at Rosser Funeral Home.
Ray Jackson passed away Thursday, April 7, 2022 in Fort Worth. He was born July 3, 1944 in San Antonio, Texas, the son of Edna (Roof) and Raymond Leniol Jackson. He married Andi Hysinger on June 8, 2018 in Fort Worth.
Ray served his country proudly in the United States Navy. He was a retired captain of Protective Services at Vought Aircraft Co., and also retired from the City of Cleburne. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend to many.
Ray was preceded in death by his parents and first wife, Rebecca Jackson on June 27, 2013.
Survivors include his wife, Andi Jackson of Fort Worth; son, Brian Jackson of Cleburne; daughters, Mandy Jackson of Cleburne and Stacy Fockler of Maryland; stepson, Christopher Hysinger of Houston; stepdaughters, Betsy Grovenstein of California and Lauren Alday of Minnesota; grandchildren, Bobby and Lenzee Shelton of Alaska, Whitnee Jenkins of Cleburne, McKenna Reese and Bennett Fockler of Maryland, Gage Neathery and, Londyn Jackson, both of Weatherford, Daniel and Alex Hysinger, both of Houston, Hudson and Rosie Alday, both of Minnesota and Lawrence Grovenstein of California; great grandchildren, Tatum, Kenadee, and Brystal Shelton and Raelyn Jenkins, all of Alaska; brother, Len Jackson and wife, LaRita of Cleburne; sister, Ginger Smith of Arkansas; and a host of other relatives and friends who will miss hearing Ray’s favorite saying, “Glad you got to see me”
