Obituary for Bertha Garcia Cavazos (Garcia)

Bertha Cavazos, 75, of Cleburne, Texas passed from this life into the loving arms of Jesus Christ on Thursday, December 6, 2018. She passed peacefully at home surrounded by her loved ones.
A visitation will be held from 6 - 8 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 9, 2018 at Rosser Funeral Home. A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, December 10, 2018 at Calvary Baptist Church with the Rev. Brooks Monk and the Rev. Charles Payne officiating
Bertha was born November 11, 1943, to Juan Garcia and Pila Rodriguez in Ballinger, Texas, where she was raised and where she later married Delfido Cavazos Sr. in 1960.
For the last 19 years she made her home in Cleburne, Texas where she started and successfully ran her own cleaning business: Bertha's Custom Maid Service.
Bertha was a devoted mother to five children who blessed her with eight grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Bertha will always be remembered for her loving heart for others, vibrant personality, and her never ending faith and love for the Lord.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Veronica "Betty" Cavazos; and sister, Ninfa Arteaga.
Bertha is survived by her daughters, Norma Gloria and husband Lee Ray Gloria of Cleburne and Angelica Boyd of Carrollton, Texas; sons, Del Cavazos Jr. of Cleburne and Raul Cavazos of Dallas, Texas; and her fur-babies, Lucy and Kelly.
Her family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to her sister-cousins Delia Crockett and Josie Pena and her sister-in-law Nellie Salinas for their constant love and caring of our mother. A special thank you to Community Hospice for the special care they gave our mother during her last days and her longtime team of girls; Cristina, Chayo, Patti and Lilly.
