Dianne Briggs Abbott went to be with her Lord and Savior Friday, December 9, 2016 in Austin, TX. She was born in Great Falls, Montana on May 3, 1948, the daughter of Ruth (Gardner) and Jonathan Briggs.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 1:30-3:30 p.m. on Monday, December 12, 2016 at Rosser Funeral Home.
Serving as pallbearers will be Scott Jones, Keaton Jones, Chris Martin, Gregory Martin, Austin Martin, and Darrell Martin.
She was a member of Field Street Baptist Church.
Dianne was preceded in death by her son, Richie Abbott.
She is survived by her daughters, Laci Jones and husband, Scott, of Austin; Dawn Martin and husband, Chris, of Cleburne; grandchildren, Keaton and Averi Jones; Gregory, Whittney, Austin, and Donica Martin; great grandson, Kyson Martin; and a host of other relatives and friends.
At the family’s request, memorials can be made to MDA for Strength, Independence, and Life, 222 S. Riverside Plaza, Suite 1500, Chicago, Illinois 60606.
