Miss America

I knew and spent time with Lexi when she was born up until she was around 5 or 6 yrs old. There were a few times I got to babysit her at my house. She always wanted to put make-up on with me, so we would go all out and put it on just perfect, and the final touch was the pink lipstick on that precious smile. She asked me if I thought she was pretty and I told her she was so pretty she could be Miss America. "WHO IS THAT? I told her that Miss America was the prettiest girl in the whole world. Her face just lit up,looked in the mirror and mumbled, Miss America. I said you would be the prettiest one of all. Then we had to wash it all off before she went home and it was always our little secret. We promised never to tell anyone. So special!
