Scott, so very kindly, lent me his bicycle, and I rode it all through the back lanes of Brownsville, waving a baseball bat as a canine deterrent, while observing armadillos and snowy egrets [a drawing of which hangs on one of my walls]. Scott was a big, kind, gentle fellow and, like all of his family, thoroughly good. My deepest sympathy to Lisa, their daughters, Scott's brothers, Mark, Lane and Todd, and Lane's and Todd's wives.
