Nelda Gail George went to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 1, 2017 peacefully after a long brave battle with Alzheimer's disease. Nelda was born on March 6, 1935 to John B. Lindamood and Ethel (Funderburk) Evey in Anderson County, Texas.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was the best Nana to her grandchildren and every child she knew. Nelda's life was spent always caring for others. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Nelda was preceded in death by her parents; son, Timothy Charles George; and son-in-law, Earl A. Dollar.
She is survived by her daughter, Teresa Gail Dollar; daughter-in-law, Miriam George; granddaughters, Mallory Gail Juarez and husband, Hector Juarez and Madison Rae Dollar; great-grandchildren, Alexx Breylen Juarez and Leighton Rae Juarez; brother, John David Lindamood; sister, Loretta Jean Davis; and many other family members and friends.
A visitation will be held from 9-11 a.m. Saturday, July 8, 2017 at Rosser Funeral Home prior to
graveside services to be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, July 8, 2017 at Concord Cemetery in East Texas with the Rev. Mark Rogers officiating.
