Graveside service for Mary Jo McNew, 76, of Cleburne, Texas, will be conducted at 3 p.m. Monday, Oct. 23, 2017 at Grandview Cemetery. Pastor Michael Maxwell will officiate. The family will receive visitors 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 22, 2017 at Rosser Funeral Home.
Mary Jo went to be with the Lord on Thursday, Oct. 19, 2017 in Fort Worth, Texas. She was born Oct. 2, 1941, in Cleburne, Texas to Florence (Billingsly) and James Nelson. Mary Jo worked for the Federal government where she was an USDA Meat Inspector. She was of the Christian faith.
Mary Jo was preceded in death by her husband, Avery McNew; and daughter, Pamela McNew.
She is survived by her sons, James McNew of Fort Worth, David McNew and Richard McNew both of Cleburne; daughters, Kathryn Campbell and husband, Wesley, of Richland Hills, Pinkie Holland and husband, Benjamin, of Fort Worth, Tasha James and husband, Steven, of Cleburne, Tanya Bearden and husband, Robert, of Fort Worth; 13 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and several other half sisters, other relatives and friends
