Funeral services for Carlton Douglas “Doug” Smith, 77, of Mineola, Texas will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, February 19, 2018 in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel.
Doug Smith passed away Friday, February 9, 2018 in Tyler, Texas. He was born in Cleburne, Texas on January 26, 1941, the son of Dollilee (Davis) and Mack Douglas Smith.
Doug served his country in the United States Navy and was retired from Republic National Bank of Dallas. He loved fishing and boating and had realized his dream of living on the lake. Doug was also a professional Grandpa who enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Doug is survived by his son, Craig Smith and wife, Cinda, of Allen, Texas; daughter, Cindy Bible and husband, Chris, of Richardson, Texas; and grandchildren Camryn and Caycie Smith and Jeremy and Noah Houston.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
