Graveside services for Dolores Lindsey “Grandma” Mozjesik, 80, of Granbury, Texas will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday, April 28, 2018 at Holly Hills Cemetery in Granbury. All are welcomed to attend.
Dolores Lindsey “Grandma” Mozjesik died peacefully in Granbury on April 17, 2018 at the age of 80.
Dolores was born on Aug. 15, 1937 in Lambert, Mississippi to parents, Lorrayne and Clifton H. Lindsey. She graduated from Polly Tech High School in 1955. Dolores married her co-worker, a shoe repairman of Cartan’s shoes in 1982. Dolores began working at Cartan’s Shoes in a position of sales for 25 plus years, retiring at the age of 65. Her children remember her as a hardworking, outgoing and caring mother who always provided a helping hand. Dolores was a generous individual who loved her family and was passionate about her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Kelly Bishop and husband, Bobby, of Granbury, Andrew Marcus Howland of Mansfield, Maggie Stennett and husband, Dwight, of Eastland, Texas, Joe Wilhite and wife, Niki, of Fayetteville, NC; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Dolores is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lawrence Anthony Mozjesik; and sibling, Virginia Lindsey Cochran.
The family would like to thank Sharon Kramka, her care-giver, Meals on Wheels, and Kris, her hospice nurse, for all their hard work and help.
