Funeral services for Dominic Valero, 87, of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday, December 27, 2021 in the Rosser Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Alvin Robinson and Bro. Ronnie Robinson officiating. Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery with Michael Valero, Darrell Spencer, Brian Spencer, Dusty Spencer, Evan Dykes, and Johnny Robinson, and serving as pallbearers.
A visitation will be held from 2 – 4 p.m. Sunday, December 26, 2021 at Rosser Funeral Home.
Dominic passed away Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at his home in Cleburne. He was born in Reagan, Texas on January 21, 1934, the son of Valentino (Juarz) and Jesse Valero.
Dominic married Nona Robinson on April 18, 1986 in Cleburne. He served his country in the United States Navy and was the founding Pastor of Open Heart Ministries.
Dominic is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Jesse Valero, Jr., Dean Valero, Charlie Valero, and Solomon Valero; and sisters, Betty Trejo, Bessie Castenon, Valentina Vazquez, and Janice Soto.
He is survived by his wife, Nona Valero of Cleburne; daughter, Debra McDonald and husband, Jimmy, of Rice, Texas; sons, Jeff Valero and wife, Charlotte, of Stroud, Oklahoma, Johnny Valero of Boise, Idaho, Mike Valero and wife, Dianne, Darrell Spencer, and Brian Spencer, all of Cleburne, Texas; brothers, Paul Valero and Vic Valero, both of Bryan, Texas, and Andy Valero of Houston, Texas; sisters, Lillie Mae Brandon of Houston, Eva Martinez of Cleburne, Susie Current of Mexia, Texas, Rosie Valero of Godley, Texas, and Janie Deleon of Bryan; many grandchildren, other family members, and friends.
