Condolence: Kern and Cheryl had such an influence on me. They both gave such love to me as a 5-year old girl and they were both more important to me than they know. One of my favorite memories of Kern was riding around McLoud, OK before Sunday night services picking up the widow women and giving them a ride to services or sometimes just stopping by to either give them something or just to see how they were doing. He taught me at a young age what it was to be a servant. Sending love to Cheryl and the family.

Condolence: Kern was one of my favorite people. He was kind, intuitive and empathetic toward others. I will always credit his preaching and teaching for healing a rift in my family that had been there since 1982. His energy and enthusiasm for the Gospel was an inspiration to many. He will be missed.
