Graveside services for Codella Leona Gossett, 83, of Cleburne, Texas will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, December 31, 2021 in Rosehill Cemetery with the Rev. Jerry Melson officiating.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6 – 8 p.m. Thursday, December 30, 2021 at Rosser Funeral Home.
Mrs. Gossett passed away Sunday, December 26, 2021 in Cleburne. She was born in Glen, Texas on August 1, 1938, the daughter of Goldie (Varnell) and Jim W. Norris.
Mrs. Gossett was retired from the Winn Dixie Corporation where she worked as an insurance claims agent.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Earl Ray Gossett in March of 2009; and brother, Richard Norris.
Mrs. Gossett is survived by her sons, Dennis Carpenter and wife, Glynis, of Loveland, Colorado, Randy Carpenter of Jacksonville, Florida, Greg Gossett and wife, Tami, of Springtown, Texas, and Barry Gosset of Cleburne; daughters, Pat Wilson and husband, David, of Cleburne, and Carol Gossett of Round Rock, Texas; brother, Joel Norris of Seymour, Missouri; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, other relatives, and friends.
