Obituary for Clifford Dee Storment

Services for Clifford Dee Storment, 90, of Keota, Oklahoma will be conducted at 2:30 p.m., Friday, January 7, 2022, at the Fort Gibson National Cemetery. Full military honors will be presented grave side and officiated by a military Chaplain.
Clifford passed away, on Sunday, January 2, 2022, in Cleburne, Texas in the comfort of his home and accompanied by loved ones. He passed due to complications from COVID-19. Clifford was born March 28, 1931, in Keota, to William Herbert Storment and Maude Ethel (Williams) Storment. Clifford graduated from Stigler High School in 1949. He married Doris K. Williams on January 22, 1955 in Gainesville, Texas and was a member of Cross Roads Free Will Baptist Church.
He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in real estate from North Texas State University in Denton, TX. Clifford retired from the US Army as a Chief Warrant Officer II after 20 years. Clifford is a veteran of the Korean War and Vietnam War. After retirement Clifford and family moved to the Joshua-Cleburne area in January 1980.
Clifford is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, William “Howard” Storment and John Lee Storment; sister, Juanita Storment; and his son, John Larry Storment.
Clifford is survived by his wife of 66 years, Doris Katherine (Williams) Storment; brother, James Leon Storment and wife, Barbara (Hickman) Storment; children, Teresa Faye Storment and Clifford “David” Storment and wife, Lynn Denise Buker-Storment; grandchildren, Michael Grady Storment, Terri Ann (Storment) Schubert and husband Bryan Kyle Schubert, Caryn Lynn Knightlinger, and William Andrew “Andy” David Storment; and great-grandchildren, Callie Anne Schubert, Cannan Lee Schubert, Carlee Marie Schubert and Corbin James Schubert.
