Condolence: Sending prayers for the entire Gillan family. He was my 7th and 8th grade teacher at DJA in the early 70's. Mr. Gillan was my favorite teacher and a great influence in my life. Nothing but great memories and fun. He was my ride to and from school each day in his mustang along with bryce and Kitty. We had so much fun on our 8th grade class trip to Big Bend where we spent a week of school. I am so saddened to hear of his passing. His whole family is special to me. Lucky they have a lifetime of memories with him.

Condolence: I have fond memories of my time with David Gillan and his entire family, for 2 years they were like my second family while attending VGA. I often spent my weekends at their house and was always welcomed. I once asked David, are you going to ever paint your house?, he laughed and said, why, I haven’t got time to take on that project, and then said, “ nobody’s going to pay me to do it” just ironic because he painted houses at one time for a living! I haven’t seen David in many years as it often happens, we move on and start our own lives, but glad to have meet and known him for those few short years. I love the Gillan family and pass on my condolences to them.
