Condolence: May God take mercy on Mr. Ball as he enters the gates of heaven. May God bless his children in their sadness. Happy to know he's joined with Betty again. What a wise airman. He knew more of flying and airplanes than any one else. He gave wise counsel regarding all things aviation. I did not take my student-pilot training from him but I knew many who did. He was highly regarded. I'm sure those future pilots recall his many ways of clearly communicating the safe operation of an airplane. I flew with him when I was interested in N4061F. I flew with him after maintenance work on my Cessna. I bought fuel from his fuel station. I noticed his decline which saddened me. I still look at the items I purchase when he closed down his airport operations & sold his collection of aviation tools, books, posters and equipment. I think of him fondly. Rest in peace, Sam.
